The 2014 AFTA Convention and Rendezvous will be held October 4, 2014 at J Perry Mikles Blue Mountain SUA. Events include trapping demo’s, dutch oven cooking, laser hunting simulator, potluck lunch (bring a dish or dessert), silent auction, tailgaters, supply vendors and more. Admission is free.
JPM Blue Mountain SUA is located approximately 5 miles southeast of Booneville, AR on Highway 217. The location is also known as the Blue Mountain Wildlife Demonstration Area.
Camping is free at the SUA. Campers may arrive Friday evening and depart Sunday. There will be a hamburger and hotdog cookout Friday evening. Camping is also available at nearby Blue Mountain Lake.
